The Exploration of the week of 03/04/2024

  1. The letter of this week was the letter “T”.
  2. We worked on letter “T” worksheets. We did letter “T” craft, “T” is for “Tree”.
  3. Our core word for the month of March is “You“.
  4. We answered our two reading comprehension questions, “What book did we read?”, and “What was our core word?”.
  5. We read “I Like You” book from the “Core First Learning” series.
  6. “I can compare objects and identify which is tall and short” was our math objective for the month of March.
  7. ULS topic for this month is “Earth & Space Science: Tell me about the Weather”.
  8. This week’s story was “If you give a pig a pancake”. The author is “Laura Numeroff” and the illustrator is “Felicia Bond”.
  9. We would like to send a big thank you to “Dina & Celina” from “Michael Berry Center” for joining us this Friday and reading a book to us. Dina & Celina are part of “Reading Group”.
  10. The month of March objectives are: I can identify what the character did in a familiar story. I can explore books independently! And, I can compare objects and identify which is tall and short.
  11. March is reading month, and as part of “One Book, One School” theme, we will be reading “Charlotte Web” book all this month. The following is the link to the adapted version of this book. Please, use the link to read the book with your child:
