Hello, Friends & Families!
Poem of the week
Pumpkin picking
Let’s go picking in the pumpkin patch.
Now we’re jiggling the old gate latch.
Gate swings wide and we step inside.
Pumpkins spread like an ocean tide.
You take the one like a fat ballon.
I’ll take the one like an orange moon.
hike to the house in fifty paces.
Then we’ll carve out the pumpkin faces.

What Was Happening?
We focused on letter “F” this week. We traced, colored, sounded out, and discovered different items that start with this week’s letter, the letter “F”. We made the letter “F” craft, and we placed our sample on the wall outside our classroom, as well as inside the classroom. We are still watching our tree leaves how they change color/status. The leaves are already turned dry and their color is turning to black. We practiced counting numbers (1-10), and we used different manipulatives for counting. For reading comprehension, we answered “What book did we read?” and “Who was the book about?” questions, and we used “I Know an Old lady who swallowed a pie” book. We also are still learning our core words, “I” & “Want” by using our core learning book “When I Want” from the “Core first Learning” series. For science, we are learning about seasons, weather, and calendar words. We did an amazing job in Gym, Art, and music.
