May 15th Lesson Plans

Here is an outline of today’s assignments (Friday, May 15TH):

● SPELLING:  Have a family member give you a Spelling Test!  How many ‘-og’ words can you spell?  (bog, dog, fog, hog, log, frog, clog, blog, smog etc.)

● READING:  Listen to the story, A Sick Day for Amos McGee

Discuss:  Friendship – Are the characters in the story being good friends, why or why not

● WRITING (Narrative, Day 3) – Design the cover page of your paper book!  Click the link and choose some of your favorite animals to draw from this collection-

Last, have mom or dad record a video of you reading your “Zoo Friends” story.  Send your teacher the video to share with friends on Dojo!

  2. Why is it a living thing?

Take a picture with your thing and your writing to share with your teacher.
