This week we will make 3D pumpkins. All items can be obtained and purchased from the dollar store. When you finish the project please send a picture to me so I can add it to our classroom blog.
Weekly Science Project For The Week OF 10/19/2020
Hello Friends,
This week’s science project is about the parts of a pumpkin. You do not need a pumpkin for the activity. This is a great activity to do with our students before you carve pumpkins for Halloween or to make pumpkin seeds. Using scissors is not an easy task for our students. It helps if you have the student cut the main parts out and have the adult cut out the detailed parts.
Weekly Life Skills Activity For the Week of 10/19/2020: Pumpkin Hummus

Attached is our weekly cooking project. The students will make pumpkin hummus. While doing this activity it is important that you show and say the name of each item used in the activity. It’s a great vocabulary builder for our students. If the student can, have the student restate the name of the item you show them. Our students may require hand-over-hand assistance when combining and mixing the items.
