This life skills opportunity is great for our students because it allows them eat their reward. The story also includes several comprehension questions and activities.

Attached is a link to a list of TIME for Kids weekly readers. Our students love sitting and listening to the story. After each article we work on simple commands and questions. We always give our students two choices to pick from when asking questions. Example: Is this color blue or black?

School Closing Information as of 3/17

All Dearborn Public Schools will be closed for students effective immediately, March 13, 2020. This is a result of Governor Whitmer’s order to close all K-12 schools starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5. 

Dearborn Public Schools spring break will take place from Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10. Students will return to school on Monday, April 13, 2020.

This could change based on the spread of the virus. Please check the blog daily for updates.
