Our reading strategy will focus on narrative stories. We’ll be using information from the illustrations and the words to understand characters actions, setting and plot.

We’re back to opinion writing for a couple of weeks and since March is Reading Month, we’ll be writing our opinion on a book we like with 3 appropriate reasons.

Math continues with addition and subtraction of 2 and 3 digit numbers while understanding place value and the “bundling/unbundling” concept (trading/borrowing).

We’ll be learning about the Natural Resources needed to make products this week in social studies. We’ll also learn new vocabulary: human (people), natural(things found in nature), capital(money/tools) resources.

Science continues with how landforms are made.
