US History with Mr. Harrison

After discussing the day in history, we began watching the first act of Iron Jawed Angels and students answered questions while viewing.

After discussing the day in history, we finished off going over the Ch. 9 sec. 1 answers, and then students completed a handout over reforms of the progressive era.

After discussing the day in history, we continued to discuss child labor during the Guilded Age. We continued to cover the 9-1 answers, and then students completed a handout over the Muckrakers. Students were also given time to work on the Ch. 9 sec. 2 textbook Questions, due tomorrow.

After checking the Ch. 9 sec. 1 questions from Friday, we discussed the day in history. We then went over the answers to last week’s handouts on Andrew Carnegie and JD Rockefeller. We then began to go over the 9-1 questions, and students completed questions over an article on child labor in mines.
