Important Online Information

I hope you had a restful and safe spring break. Here are some important information that is useful during virtual learning.

Technology Support:

When a Student is having a technical issue with a chromebook, feel free to contact the Parent Technology Support Line  313-827-8400 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Please make sure you have the child’s ID number and a computer open to the page you are having issues with.

Google Classroom:

This is a tutorial on how to turn in Google classroom assignment because some students are still typing the whole document.

Report Cards:

The Elementary Report Cards for Marking Period 3 are currently being processed and are available to parents in ParentConnect.  Following is some information on how parents can access report cards data in MIStar ParentConnect. Please note that if you have more than one child, you should be able to see data for all your children and you do not need separate logins for the different schools (if your children attend more than one school).

To log into ParentConnect you will need your PIN and password. If you have your PIN and password, you can go to the Dearborn Schools’ website (dearbornschools.org) and then click the ParentConnect link.

If you don’t know your login info, click (Need Your Login Information) link and it will prompt you to enter your email address (use the email you provided to the school and is in our system), and then click Submit. This process will email you your PIN and Password.

Once you are logged in, click on “report card marks” module.

1. One exciting change this week is that our Foss Science book can be accessed online. It’s the Solids and Liquids book. It has online videos, eBook, and online activities(puzzles).  To access our Foss Science Book go to Foss Science Book Login the Username: Hammoud1 Password: Hammoud107 Feel free to start exploring this website!
2. Check Ms. Burek’s iblog for more science activities. Here is the link: Ms. Burek’s iblog. Please access the second grade lesson as this is their science enrichment activity for the week. Feel free to explore the other grade levels if you wish!

I am happy to report that 90% of the class went on Zearn and iReady this week! I am proud of every single student for embracing online learning. I am hoping for 100% next week! Keep up the great work!
