This week starts card marking three. I can’t believe half the year is over already. Report cards will be coming home this week. There are no conferences this time, but if you are concerned about your child’s report card, please call me and we can set up a meeting. Here is what is on the schedule for this week.
Reading: RL 4.3 – Describe in depth a character, setting, or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text (e.g., a character’s thoughts, words, or actions).
Math:
Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. For example, recognize that 700 ÷ 70 = 10 by applying concepts of place value and division.
4.NF.6 Use decimal notation for fractions with denominators 10 or 100. For example, rewrite 0.62 as 62/100; describe a length as 0.62 meters; locate 0.62 on a number line diagram.
Science: ESS1:What is the universe and what is Earth’s place in it? ESS2: How and why is Earth constantly changing?
Social Studies: 4-C1.0.3 Describe the purposes of government as identified in the preamble of the Constitution. 4-C3.0.2 Give examples of powers granted to the federal government
