Let’s go shopping!!! Yup, SHOPPING!!! We are going to use Google Sheets today for the first time and I am very excited for you to see what you can do with it. You are going to create your own wish list of toys, clothes, gadgets, anything you want to buy and have Google Sheets add up your costs and create a pie graph to go along with your data. This is a great way to prep for an early Christmas or Eid wish list. Don’t know how much an item is that you want? You can look it up 🙂
So many of you asked me to continue reading Dog Man, so I will! You will have time to finish your comic strip today, when done we will practice our Typing and should have time for Room Recess.
I know so many of you love Graphic Novels, which is so awesome, I do too! Today you will create your own Comic Strip. This is an opportunity to be creative and have fun with your characters and their speech.
Last week I read the story, “Boxitect” and today’s read-aloud is “Iggy Peck Architect.” Both stories involve students building things. Hopefully, this gave you some inspiration with your building project that you will share me. If we have time, we can play Blooket.
Today is the LAST day we get to work on our story books. I can’t wait to read your stories and meet your villainous, villain!

We will continue to write and, possibly, illustrate our stories today. Remember, your villain is one of your main characters.
Now that you know who your villain or villains are going to be in your story, let’s start writing! I have a brand new white hardcover book that will be yours to write on and illustrate. This project will take us about two weeks so do not rush. I want to see creativity!
Nothing is better than a story with a great Villain! After listening to one of my favorite stories that has a villainous character, you are going to create a MOST WANTED sign of your own creative villain. Next week, you will use this character to write your own fictional story using this villain.
Continuing our informational research today but I AM doing the research today! We will learn about the Food Chain and play Blooket after to test what you remember.
Dinosaur Research Week! You will choose a dinosaur of your choice and tell me about their body features and how they were beneficial to that dinosaur’s survival and life. You will also have a chance to design your own fierce or gentle dinosaur.
