We have learned how to find picture books, fictional books, and graphic novels in our library using our Destiny Catalog. How do we find nonfiction books? What do the numbers on nonfiction books’ spines mean? We are going to turn into Dewey Decimal System Detectives today. All you need is a pencil and clipboard! Oh, and maybe a magnifying glass!
Winter Break is here!! After answering your classmate’s Google Surveys there are a lot of fun holiday activities and stories to look at and choose from.
What is a survey? Why are they important? What do we use them for? After we learn the answers to these questions, we can create our own surveys today! We will collect the data next week.

We are going to take a break a from Digital Citizenship to have some Halloween fun. After my Spooktacular read-aloud, you can choose between creating your own Halloween Animation or Build your own Jack-o-Lantern. I will model how to do both.
We will continue with our Digital Citizenship unit and focus on Privacy and Safety.
