Work to pick Up

I put math lessons, reading booklets, spelling and a pamphlet into an envelope for all the students. Please come today or this evening and pick it up. The tub is outside the office door marked 2nd grade. Each student has an envelope with his/her name on it. Thank you.

Asynchronous Work for Today, Monday, October 11

There will not be zoom meetings today. Students are to work Asynchronous today. I posted a few things in Schoology. We just finished our meeting and will be posting more. Please check back into Schoology for further assignments after 11am. When you get into Schoology, please click on the 2nd grade ELA course that has bananas and an apple. Inside the page, you will see assignments and the link for tomorrow’s zoom classes. Please also visit the Math Course. It is purple with math symbols. Click on this course and you will see a link to Great Minds and Zearn. Students can practice the study guide for math which I assigned last Friday and work on Zearn today for math. I will post a schedule for tomorrow’s zooms as soon as I make it. Thank you for your patience.

Study Guide for Math Test

At the end of next week or the beginning of the following, we will have the Module 2 math test. I have set up a study guide in Great Minds. This is the website we used last year for math assignments and tests. To get to the study guide, go to the Dearborn Public Schools Website Student Portal. You will be prompted to enter your child’s email address or to choose an account. I am sending home your child’s login information, but I think most know it. The user name is the 201number@dearbornschools.org The password is his/her birthday. Anyway, once inside Schoology, click on Courses. Then click on math. Then click on Great Minds. You will be given options for logging in. Choose Google. Once inside, your child will see the Assignment. It is the Module 2 End of Module Assessment. This is the study guide, not the actual test. It will not be graded. The test will be given in paper form here at school. Let me know if you need help. Mrs. Hall
