Happy New Year!

Well, this vacation has flown by!  It’s time to get back to business.

 

Math Test

The math retake test will be this Friday.  Please check the planner for scores below 70% on any topic.  If the score is below 70%, students will be retaking this portion of the test on Study Island.  Hint:  If the test is on Study Island, Study Island will help you study for the test!

Homework Packets

All homework packets are due on Monday.  The science project and social studies project are NOT due on Monday, but may be turned in early.

XtraMath

Please don’t forget about XtraMath.  5th graders should be able to do 50 addition/subtraction/multiplication problems in 1 minute with 100% accuracy.  The only way to achieve this is to practice!

AdaptedMind

I have signed our class up for another math website for practice, called AdaptedMind.  I will give you more information once I get it up and running.  Thanks!

Supplies

As we start the new year, we could use some new supplies, as ours are running low.  We are always accepting Kleenex (tissues), hand sanitizer, pencils, dry erase markers and copy paper.  We will also need some more spiral notebooks (70 page, 1 subject), loose leaf notebook paper and glue sticks/liquid glue.  If you can, any donations are greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much!
