Reflection for September 14th
Wow! This day zoomed right by! *We are still finishing up a few housekeeping matters, so if your child has not turned in any of the notes that were sent home, please return them ASAP! Thanks!*In math today we talked about factors, and played Factor Captor. Ask your child what he/she learned from playing this game. We also talked a little bit about area and perimeter. *In science, we are discussing the Scientific Method. We discussed how we can use our senses to make observations and ask questions based upon those observations.*We are finishing up our writing assignment, called “Being the Best I Can Be.” Ask your child what he/she wrote. We will be conferencing on this assignment shortly. *In the computer lab, we bookmarked our blog, set it as our homepage, took a multiplication timed test, and explored the blog. We had 20 students improve their score from yesterday! Way to go! *Don’t forget, tonight is the Anti-Bullying Extravaganza at The Ford Center for Performing Arts. The festivities begin at 6:00.* Don’t forget, we have P.E. tomorrow~WEAR THOSE GYM SHOES!
