A Warning to Parents and Kids with Smartphones

Smartphones can embed geotagging information in photos which can be extracted and placed on a map. Some people post these photos on twitter and facebook which can then be used to put a person at a location based on the geotagging information hidden in the photo.
This can be very dangerous for posting photos taken on smart phones and posted on websites as it would allow someone with devious intentions to know where a kid may hang out with friends.
