Content Objective: I can demonstrate comprehension of the motion of the moon and it’s predictable cycle by modeling the movement of the moon around the Earth and the light from the sun using a styrofaom ball on a stick and a flashlight to observe the phases of the moon.
Language Objective: I can orally tell my partner why we have moon phases using my created “Moon Phase” Flipbook.

Content Objective: I can demonstrate knowledge of how physical characteristics can help an animal survive in it’s environment by experimenting with various bird beaks (tools) and food sources to see how birds adapt using their trait.
Language Objective: I can write to explain which beak(tool) worked best to collect food.
