Friday, December 21st

It is officially Winter today and the last day of school for 2018!  Since we will not be back until Monday, January 7th, we need to keep the kids sharp on their studies.  Epic books is available for kids free to 5 p.m. daily.  Be sure that your child reads the assigned books and completes the quiz at the end of the book.  Reading needs to take place every day!  Make sure that they spend about one hour a day reading or working on math.  This leaves plenty of time for playing, relaxing…  NWEA testing is coming up at the end of January so go over their goals with them and encourage them to do their best.

We had a lot of fun today with a special activity, smoothies, a movie, hot chocolate and cookies, and a sing-a-long!  Check out the pictures below.

Have a wonderful break and a splendid New Year!

Homework

Math– Do 4 hours of work on Exact Path Math.

Social Studies– Research and complete power point on explorers

Reading should be done everyday.  There are 4 books assigned on Epic and 8 logs that need to be worked on.
