Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! This week we will begin NWEA testing. Be sure that your child is getting enough rest and eating breakfast before coming to school.
Tomorrow students will have a PBIS Assembly to go over the school and classroom rules with Mr. Omar.
Here is what we will be learning this week:
ELA
- Using quotes directly from a text to support inferences about it and better understand the text.
- We will begin narrative writing.
- Setting up Daily 5 and Cafe strategies and rotations in the classroom.
Math
- Familiarizing ourselves with the new math curriculum called Eureka Math.
- Place value and decimal fractions.

Science
- Introducing chemistry to the students and where alchemists learned to make potions.
Social Studies
- We will begin learning about the three branches of government.
