We began the Language NWEA today. We will continue this tomorrow for those that have not finished. Chapters 13-15  of The Giver must be read by Friday along with the chapter questions.

Homework:

• Read chapter 13-15 of The Giver and finish the chapter 13-15 questions – due Friday
• One Pager #7 & #8 – Due June 8th
• ReadTheory (need 30 passed since April 9th)
• Silent Read Good Fit Book (20 minutes every night!)

We were given One-Pager #8 to begin on The Giver. We have not finished reading this novel yet so this cannot be fully completed until we do so you can write a full summary.

We had our very own Ceremony of Twelve in the auditorium as well. This was to allow students to better empathize with the community members and Jonas in The Giver. When we were done we discussed what it felt like and how we can now better relate to Jonas’s experience.
