Congrats to the Lindbergh Chess team!!! They are off to the finals on Tuesday, March 6th!!
Please read the note going home with ALL important dates and information for the month of March & part of April!!!
Our new book study will be A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle. The students voted and it ended in a tie with another title. I made the executive decision and chose A Wrinkle in Time. If time allots we will finish the year with their 2nd choice. If your child can bring in their own copy of a Wrinkle in Time, that would be fantastic! I currently have 9 copies. Please by all means, do not feel obligated to purchase one.
5th Grade Camp meeting has been canceled. Once a new date is decided, a note will be sent home.
The March is Reading month calendar was sent home last night! Our theme is the Olympics! The activities can be completed in any order, with the exception of Fridays. A parent signature is required after every activity is completed. Students are to complete 20 or more activities. The calendar is due 3/29/18. Students who complete 20 or more activities, and turn in the calendar on the due date with the parent signatures will receive a prize.
Tomorrow night Roller Skating fun from 6-8!! Come show your support for Lindbergh Elementary!!
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Travel Brochure Presentations on Friday, March 2nd at 1:30 p.m.
If you haven’t RSVPed yet, please do so on the google form, which is on Monday’s blog post. This will help for planning purposes. Thank you!
Have a great rest of the day!
