As a huge reminder, we are WIDA testing the next days, if you are out of any class over the next two days, it is your responsibility to get the work and complete the work. You are not exempt from work. Please be proactive when working on assignments!

Today in class, we will begin the hour by reviewing what is on the test. he test will be out of 35 points, which will consists of multiple choice, matching the vocabulary, identifying the 7 continents and 4 oceans as well as answering the essential question of “How did Geography Influence settlement and way of life in Ancient Greece?”We will partake in all around the world to get answers from the other expert sections to put into our 25.3, 25.4 and 25.5 Notes! They are also on here!

Good Morning and TGIF!

Today in class, we will begin the hour by getting our Chapter 25 Study Guide. We will be checking the study guide on Tuesday, and test on Wednesday. The test will be out of 35 points, which will consists of multiple choice, matching the vocabulary, identifying the 7 continents and 4 oceans as well as answering the essential question of “How did Geography Influence settlement and way of life in Ancient Greece?” We will then collect the Geoskills 3.1, as well as finish up our expert assignment! The expert assignments will be based off the Level 2/Level 3 questions and main ideas they wrote on the notecards yesterday in class, as well as the notes from the section. They will make a poster board out of it and the best ones will go up for extra credit!

There is also a quizlet to help students study/work on the study guide!

Good Morning!

Glad to have everyone back again today, since Snow/Ice/Cold Days are becoming our thing on Wednesdays! Hope you all got some extra rest!

Today in class, we will begin the hour by reviewing the vocabulary and collecting the Chapter 25 Word Wall as well as reviewing the essential question. Students will also be assigned an expert assignment from Chapter 25, where they must read the section, write 2 main ideas on the notecard from the section and a level 2 and level 3 question based on the section.

We will then begin to read about how various geographic features affected settlement in Greece and take notes over this in our notebook! If time permits, we may begin our expert section!

Last week due to snow/ice/cold days, grades were kind of left undone due to kids not being here on Friday. After today, if your student is here today, they will be up to date. Today in class, we will begin the hour by placing some items in our notebooks, along with getting a Geoskills 3.1 worksheet, that is due on Friday! We will then begin our 5WR Presentations and take notes over it on our 5WR Presentation Cornell Notes.

Good Morning!

Today in class, we will begin the hour by putting some items in our notebook and passing out papers. Students will then receive a 5 World Religions Review worksheet that all answers can be found in their notebooks or reading. 5WRReviewWS – this will be due on Wednesday 1/30. We will then finish up any loose ends with the 5WR Cornell notes that are due today – Around 60 kids turned them in yesterday! We will then begin a double bubble map and our last writing prompt! The entire writing prompt is due Monday at the beginning of the hour! If time permits, I will begin to explain the slideshow presentation project over the 5 World Religions!
