Monday 03/16

Today we will be starting chapter 5 with the first section (5.1). Most of our work will require the use of TRIG IDENTITY SHEET (attached below). This sheet looks scary but I promise you it is not. If you are taking any math classes after this class for college purposes, this trig sheet is SUPER important. As a first step, I want you to look through the sheet and read QUOTIENT and RECIPROCAL IDENTITIES. Those 2 blocks should look very familiar from the previous chapter. After you are done reading the 2 blocks, copy the following notes in your textbook chapter 5 tab (tab 3). I will be creating a video to clarify later. PLEASE TRY YOUR BEST!

Corona Time

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. As we go through this hard situation, I do have some recommendations to share with you from an educator standpoint:

1- Please stay safe and abide by Self Quarantine rules.

2- This is NOT winter break this is an EMERGENCY situation; therefore, to avoid spreading the virus to our loved elderly who are the most at risk, please avoid gatherings and any public/social events. Please avoid SARCASTIC INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS on social media; this is serious it is not a joke!

3- This is not a time OFF learning, we will be continuing our curriculum through remind, iblog and videos. It is YOUR responsibility to complete all required assignments because they will be all graded and will affect your grade. Assignments will be submitted in different ways (details to come).

4- It is critical that you check your remind and iblog DAILY!

5-We will continue our SAT prep through bellwork videos (prepared by voluntary students who took feb 15th Practice) and GRADED KHAN ACADEMY SAT PREP.

6- This is an important scientific article that Mrs Fahs shared and I would like to share with you, it shows you how we can link and use math in our everyday life, Please read it! Corona virus spreads according to an EXPONENTIAL GROWTH curve.
