Today’s Class: Friday 10/13
- We talked about yesterday’s bellwork. WHen solving radical functions we have to make sure to check if the solutions work, if they don’t not work we call them extraneous
- We did 2 more examples of composition of functions (check notes below)
- Homework p 116 #1 through 4 (not the quick review questions)
- p 117 # 15 and 17, 11 through 14
- Section 1.4 completed notes_Fri- 10-13
Today’s Class: Thursday 10/12
- SAT bellwork BW Thu 10-12
- Students took a quiz about parent functions. If you missed it, talk to me to schedule a good time for makeup
- We started section 1.4 and we defined composition of functions and we did few examples together
- Section 1.4 completed notes_Thu 10-12
- Homework Page 116# 1 through 4 and 11 through 14 (Ignore the domain) (refer to your notes for help)

I can statements:
- I can sketch the graph of all 12 basic functions
- I can write the equation of all 12 basic functions
- I can find the domain and range of all 12 basic functions
- I can find the symmetry of all 12 basic functions (odd, even, neither)
- I can find asymptotes of some of the parent functions (exponential, rational, logistic, log)
