Coats & boots- As the winter season approaches, more layers are necessary to stay warm!  Students will be going outside for recess unless the temperatures are extreme. Please be sure to send hats, gloves, and boots. Students cannot go into the snow unless they have winter boots to change into for recess time. If your child comes to school with winter boots on, please pack them an extra pair of school shoes to wear in the classroom! We are trying to prevent snow, water and mud from coming into the classroom and making a messy and dangerous situation. Students spend majority of their time working on our new carpet and we do not want them sitting and laying in a wet mess from snow boots. Please make sure your child knows how to take off their boots and put their shoes on independently- I am not able to help every student get dressed for recess and monitor the students in the classroom. Unfortunately, I do not have the manpower to help all 24 students get dressed multiple times a day.
