We had the MOST AMAZING year! So thankful to have taught this group a second time. Thanks for all of the support and understanding as I branched out of Kindergarten for the first time.

Hello Howe Families! Just a few reminders about the summer school program….
Howe Discovery program begins on Monday, June 23rd. Hours are 8:20am-3:20 pm.
Before care tutoring begins at 8 am and your child must be registered. All students begin with breakfast at 8:20 am.
After school care is 3:20- 4pm. (Your child must also be signed up for this tutoring session to stay.)
All Montessori students will be dropped off and picked up at Door 18.
Extended school year families will do their normal routine with bussing.
Students should come with water bottles and a snack. If you do not want school breakfast and lunch please pack. The choices will NOT be posted daily like during the school year.
If you are not subscribed to the Howe school blog please do that before summer school starts. That is how updates will be shared about the summer program! Click on the link below. On the right side of the screen type in your email under the “Sign Up for Howe e-news” box. Then all posts will be emailed to you!

Some scheduling has been switched around! I will have many students absent Friday. (Happy Eid to those who are celebrating!) So tomorrow we will finish sending everything home and finally open our– “do not open until the last day of second grade” surprise!
If you would like your child’s blue 2nd grade shirt signed please send in tomorrow and we will sign those in the morning and send back home that afternoon.
Nothing should be coming to school but needs- backpack, planner, folder, and waters/snacks. We do not need any extra items for the rest of the week.
I can NOT believe time has flown so much! If your child is coming to summer school please make sure you are subscribed to the school blog! That is how information will be getting out for that program.
*****Wear 2nd grade shirt!!!! (or kinder faces t-shirts if you didn’t buy one).
*Towel
*2 waters labeled with numbers (frozen would be best if possible)
*Shoes will get wet and must stay on for fire truck and after ….. so plan accordingly!
