Hard to believe we are officially down to ONE WEEK! It is crazy how fast this school year went. They worked so hard and I am so proud of them! They finished all Benchmark units, Eureka squared math lessons, AND social studies units. For amplify we finished more chapters/units than most schools so that was a positive! I am looking forward to doing some “fun activities” next week.

Monday will be a normal school day.

Tuesday is field day so we have stuff planned all day long. Please send in disposable water bottles for your child labeled with their number on the cap! We are moving around outside between the stations and I don’t want to have to worry about losing real water bottles. Your child also needs a TOWEL for the afternoon fire truck. We will be going to the playground after and no one will be allowed back in the building. If you would like to take your child early that is fine! I will be on the playground and you can check them out with me.

Wednesday is normal day.

Thursday is picnic day. Pack them a special lunch (hot lunch will still be available if you want that)

On Friday we have just a half day of school. If your child will not be attending that day please let me know so I can make sure all of their stuff goes home before then!

Please bring a TOWEL. After fire truck we are on playground for the rest of the day because we do not have space for everyone to change.

Hello Families! What a busy week! I am so excited that we have officially finished Iready, park presentations and just have a few things left to do before we start wrapping up this school year!

Coming home today are the park presentation grades. We did NOT do a spelling test today. I really just wanted them to be practicing them for the week. We will have a test next week on Week 2s words though!

These weeks are flying by and I can not believe we have only 20 days of school left!

We are working to finish up Iready reading, will do Iready math next Tuesday, then have reading level assessment for the district and math/ela common assessments. So many things with not a lot of time it feels like!

All scores will be coming home after the testing period ends and the whole staff can send them home. So far they are making AMAZING growth and I am SO PROUD of them! <3

Next week is a normal calendar week with early release on Tuesday and Park presentations on Wednesday from 230-3 pm.

Tomorrow morning we are taking the Iready reading assessment. Please make sure your child goes to bed early and eats a good breakfast before school!

Dioramas will stay in our classroom until we present next Wednesday! They all did such a great job!

Fifth grade is having a fundraiser at our project presentations in the cafeteria that day. Please sign up if you can donate items for them to sell. These sales are going for swag bags and end of the year celebrations for them.
