Super short week so these will be quick updates…

New books for book bags coming home on Monday. Just didn’t have time to get them pulled and get them out with the testing and juggling everything else this short week. I told them they can read library books or books at home until I get them new ones next week.

Next week we will be on Benchmark Unit 5 Week 3. We saved all of the spelling words and writing for that. So they get 2 weeks with these simple words! (brown, now, count, out, cow, owl, house, round, mouth, and town). I gave a new spelling choice board and told them to do 2 boxes they did not do last week and then do one repeat for a total of only 3 boxes due next Friday. You will see the date with Jan 31st 🙂 If they did not bring the old choice board today I told them to bring it on Monday.

We did not get to Science this week with the short days and testing as well! Hoping next week we can get back to normal! Testing always adds in many more to dos….

Today we had an assembly… Super U. About being kind, following the rules, doing your work, and being a great friend. The kids enjoyed it and it was fun to spend our morning laughing and playing contest games with each other. Nice way to end a crazy cold week.
