Hello Parents!
Here we are in the last week of February and that means we’re moving closer to SPRING!!!!!! Yeah!!!!
Our plans for the Hive:
Spelling: (oi, oy patterns) Our words are: soil, spoil, coin, voice, noise, boy, toy, royal, enjoy and loyal. The bonus words: avoid, choice and destroy. Our silly sentence is: The little boy enjoyed his royal toy, but it sure made loud noises!
Reading: Reviewing main ideas/details
Writing: The class has been stirring up their creative juices and writing stories for our school’s assembly—Brainstormers.
Math: Addition and subtraction with 2-3 digit numbers. We will be working through Module 5 this week and have our assessment on Friday.
Social Studies: Economics
Tidbits:
Box Tops continue to be collected through Friday.
Thank you to all the parents that volunteered to drive/ chaperone for our bowling field trip this Friday. We are looking forward to bowling some strikes!!!!!
Literacy Night is Thursday, March 5th, 5:00-6:00
