I hope everyone has had a restful weekend. We will be participating in NWEA testing on Wednesday and Thursday this week. We will take the Reading portion on Wednesday and the Language portion on Thursday. Please make sure to get a lot of sleep the nights before the tests and to have a good breakfast and/or lunch to help you do your best.
Please remember to bring a book to read tomorrow for Silent Reading Time. Sixth grade has already visited the media center, so they do have books to read. First hour seventh grade, you will go to the media center tomorrow to choose your books. Second hour seventh grade, we will not have the media center because you will be at the PBIS assembly. Please bring a book from home or borrow one of mine for Tuesday.
Because our week is so busy, we will begin our Summer Book Talks on Monday, September 18. I have attached the requirements that you received back in June and we will briefly review it in class on Monday. I will also be grading your Moby Max assignments that were to be completed over the summer.

All students should have their supplies by Monday. We are going to begin working in our interactive notebooks. If anyone is having difficulty obtaining their supplies, please contact me as soon as possible.
