This week our spelling words have the short and long e pattern.  Our words are  tell, rest, meet, each, met, pattern, sum, text, difference, and poem.

Our spelling words have the long and short o sounds.  Our words are as follows-stop, broke, low, clock, rock, add, digit, data, bar graph.

On Wednesday, September 30 the third grade is celebrating our positive behavior.  Your child may bring in an electronic device with your permission.

Our spelling words have either the short or long i pattern.  Our spelling words are as follows:

HOT –       bit, stick, brick, spin, nice
CONTENT  –  symbol, community, measure, setting, plot

Monday through Friday in your students homework notebook is a writing calendar.  They are to write 2-4 sentences about the topic.  Writing is not assigned on the weekend.

Our spelling words have the long a or short a pattern.  Our words are  can – man – cane – cape – ate – trap.  The spelling test will be on Friday!
