Today in class the 8yh graders watched videos and translated them into graphs. Your homework is IXL: Graphs.

Today in class the 6th graders decomposed a large figure into smaller ones to calculate area. No homework unless you need to finish yesterday’s IXL: Triangles.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Today in class the 8th graders finished their group activity matching graphs to tables and real world situations. Classwork was called, “Vincent’s Graphs”, some need to finish at home. Homework is IXL:Relations.

The 6th graders did an investigation on the area of triangles and rectangles. Classwork was IXL:Absolute Value. Homework is to finish yesterday’s IXL if necessary.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Today in class the 8th graders worked on reading distance-time graphs. Your homework is to complete the group evaluation in GC.

The 6th graders are working on area of rectangles. Your homework is to complete the IXL posted in google classroom.  Remember, you may use a calculator on all but 3 decimal problems. Show work for those 3 on loose leaf paper.  This is not due until Thursday.

Friday, September 9

Today in class, the 8th graders worked on improving our writing to explain our solutions. Your homework is to revise your written response from yesterday using the rubric.

The 6th graders made a frequency table and histogram using class data. You have no homework this weekend unless you have summer IXL work to catch up on.
