Welcome June!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We could do it. We are into the final stretch. This is a very important week. Please stay tuned to emails and phone calls from administration regarding picking up students material. It’s very important that you continue to check the blog daily and complete the assigned work. Students must complete the work in order to receive credit for the school days and move onto 5th grade. I am required to keep track and grade all the assignments that are turned in. This will help determine whether the student will be promoted to the next grade level. I ask all work please be completed using google classroom. That is the best way for me to keep track and give feedback. Mrs. Sleiman and I will be contacting you throughout the week. Please if you receive a private call answer. We will be calling to check up on you. On Tuesday we will meet online at 2:00. We will do this using the big blue button on I learn. I will post the directions again. We had 13 students join us last we. This will give students an opportunity to see their friends and for us to check in. If you have any questions or concerns please email me at beydous4@dearbornschools.org I will check it daily and respond within 24 hours.

Reading: Please continue to complete 45 minutes a week on I-ready. I have assigned two lessons Summarizing informational text. Make sure to complete at least 45 minutes on iReady plus the assigned lesson. Passing score should be minimum 80% and above. Take your time when answering the questions on the quiz. I have noticed students getting scores below 80%. It’s not a race, you need to use the strategies that we learned in the class. Read the questions first, then the passage. Boy’s and girls I am using Iready scores for your reading grade, so do not rush through. If you do not complete your Iready Minutes you will receive limited progress on your report card.
Writing: This week for writing we will be working on identyfing the problem and solution. You will read the passage 30 second of fuel and complete the powerpoint presentation on google classroom.
