April 30, 2020

Good Morning

Please make sure that all assignments are turned in using google classroom. It is easier to keep track, and to give students feedback. Students make sure you are doing your own work. It’s very important to be ready for 5th grade. All work needs to be submitted throughout the week. I’m not assigning a daily schedule. I trust that you will work on your assignments daily and have them turned in by Friday at 4:00. For your writing assignment this week you need to send me an email using your own district email. I need to make sure you all know how to use email so we can communicate better. Also Google Hangout is cancelled until further notice. I do miss you all very much. If your doing something fun and would like to share a picture please send it to me through remind text or email. Enjoy your day and be safe.

Hope this message reaches you all in good health. Ramadan Kareem to all. A couple of reminder’s for the week. It’s very important that you continue to check the blog daily and complete the assigned work. Under the governor’s new order and the districts plan the work will be graded.  Students must complete the work in order to receive credit for the school days and move onto 5th grade. I am required to keep track and grade all the assignments that are turned in. This will help determine whether the student will be promoted to the next grade level. I ask all work please be completed using google classroom. That is the best way for me to keep track and give feedback. Starting this week we will no longer be assigning spelling words. Mrs. Sleiman and I will be contacting you throughout the week. Please if you receive a private call answer. We will be calling to check up on you. If you have any questions or concerns please email me at beydous4@dearbornschools.org I will check it daily and respond within 24 hours.

I have assigned two lessons Making inferences about literature early 4th grade 40 minutes long and Making inferences Early 5th grade 25 minutes. Please watch the video Mr. Duering created that has directions about sending an e-mail and has sentence stems for what should be in the email.
