- tenths – In the decimal numeration, tenths is the name of the place to the right of the decimal point. Ex. In the number 4.3 the 3 is in the tenths place.
- thousandths – In the decimal numeration, thousandths is the name of the place three places to the right of the decimal point. Ex. In the number 4.321 the 1 is in the thousandths place.
- hundredths – In the decimal numeration, hundredths is the name of the place two places to the right of the decimal point. Ex. In the number 4.321 the 2 is in the hundredths place.
