Reading:
Read at least one informational book on kids a-z and answer the questions. 
Look for informational text features in the book you read. (bold print, picture captions, diagrams, headings.)
Spelling: right   light   fight   flight  might  new went  ask  are  put 
Watch the story video.  Make a chart to write all the words you see in the story with the y making the long I sound like cry on one side and words using the ight spelling pattern on the other side.

Writing:
How do you make your favorite sandwich?
Draw the steps on the top of your page using picture boxes. Describe your steps using first, next, then, and finally. It should be clear enough for me to be able to make the sandwich. Be sure to add a lot of details.
Sight Words:Have someone test you on your sight words.  Count how many sight words you read quickly.  Tell your teacher how many you read.
