Coordinate Plane Projects
Click on the link below to review the Coordinate Plane Project Rubric which is due on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 3RD!
I gave feedback on your projects today using the following codes:
1- You did not use a ruler for some or all of your letters
2- One or more of your letters can not be decomposed into rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and/or squares.
3- Some vertices are not on the intersection of 2 lines on the grid.
Below is a student example:

Geometry Test this FRIDAY
Our second Geometry test is this Friday. Students will be creating a strategy card in class to guide their review. The topics that will be covered include:
- Decomposing to calculate area
- Deducing measurements to calculate area
- Plotting vertices of polygons on the coordinate plane
- Calculating area of polygons on the coordinate Plane
