Dear 5th grade families,
As I reflect this week on what I am thankful for, my students and their families are at the top of my list. After my own 3 children at home, I view my students as my “2nd kids” and myself as their “school mom.” Thank you for entrusting me to care for them and teach them several hours most days of the week. Additionally, thank you for your support at home and for the help you have given me in the classroom. I wish you all a relaxing 5-day break with your families. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🙂
It is almost December! Please remember that, although the weather is getting colder, we will be having outdoor recess unless the temperature drops below 20 degrees fahrenheit. Please be sure to send your child to school with a warm coat, hat, and gloves.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can write a note in your child’s planner, leave me a message by phone, or email me. Thank you for your support. As a team, we can help make this a successful school year for your child!
