DIA AWAY comes to Snow on Thursday, April 7!

Snow School is very fortunate to have the DIA AWAY truck visit us on Thursday, April 7. The truck houses a mobile exhibit with many hands on/technology/art experiences for our students. The parking lot will house the large truck making fewer parking spots and more congestion. Please plan ahead and ask your students that walk in the lot to be extra cautious. The truck will be coming in at 5:30 on Wednesday, April 6. It takes 2 hours to set up and we need it up and running by 8:50 am Thursday. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding and support!

Our WOLF Den

Our WOLF Den

Our students are creating a Wolf Den out of recycled materials and papier mache. I could use some help with a few supplies….We are in need of newspaper for the papier mache- which is being used to make rocks that will go around our cave, also to be made out of papier mache. I am also looking for large and sturdy cardboard tubes that could be used to make tree trunks. If you have anything to offer please drop it by Snow. It can be left for me in the art room or the office. Many thanks! Stay tuned to see our lobby come to life!

STAND/City Beautiful and Art Club- IMPORTANT!!!!

STAND/City Beautiful and Art Club- IMPORTANT!!!!

Hi. I am going to be doing sets fot the Stout production of Hairspray. Their original set coordinator can’t do it so I am stepping in to help out a few old friends. This means NO clubs until at least after the break, but it could be up to a total of four weeks. If it goes that long I will try to fit them in somehow. Thanks for your understanding and support!!
