Kindergarten Round-up at River Oaks is on Tuesday, March 26th at 1:30p.m. Parents who have a child who will turn five by September 1, 2019 please plan to attend. If your child turns five by December 1, 2019 your child is also eligible for Dearborn’s Young 5’s Kindergarten.

Tuesday March 26, 2019 is our Spring Picture Day with Lifetouch. Flyers were sent home with the students. Please be sure to fill out the form completely and send in back on Tuesday with the payment. We do not have change in the office so be sure you have the correct amount of money.

Tuesday March 12th at 2:00 is the next monthly PTA Meeting. On the agenda will be the upcoming bake sales, Spring Celebration party and much more. Please come to the meeting to learn what is going on in your child’s school.

Reading an important part of our life. Please encourage your child to read daily and help us in celebrating this month by participating in our daily events. This year our theme is Reading around the Barn yard. Please have your child read every night to you. Our school wide goal is 30,000 minutes for the month of March.
Week 1
March 4 – Read a non-fiction book about an animal
March 5 – Play a card game with your family
March 6 – Make a book mark for your favorite book
March 7 – Read to your brother or sister
March 8 – Tell a story to a family member

River Oaks School is having a Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fund Raiser…
Please support the Fundraiser! All profits will go towards the great things provided by our students at River Oaks Elementary! Like assemblies, field trips, buses for field trips and etc.
The school wide goal is to sell at least 100 kits!!
The sale starts today February 19th with the sale ending on March 7, 2019. Delivery is March 15th. Checks make payable to River Oaks Elementary. Please convert all sales into one check or money order if possible.
