Achievements Showcase

Achievements Showcase

Snow School is looking for ways our students are involved in the community and outside of our school day.  If your children are in programs or activities in which they have achieved something- the next level, recognition for their services, involvement in programs, medals in sports, volunteer activities, church or scouts, the list could be endless!- and you wish to let us help you celebrate with them- please send in a photo for our Achievements Showcase!  It is located in the lobby and is seen by everyone!  We welcome the opportunity to promote all the good that our students at Snow do OUTSIDE their school day.  If you have questions please see Ms. Zechar.  Thanks!!

Ms. “D” makes a very cool Leadership Board!

Ms. “D” makes a very cool Leadership Board!

Our student teacher in art, Ms. Dudek, had the kindergarten students create patterned feathers that they used with crayon resist.  She cut them out and artfully constructed a set of wings for her “Leadership Takes Flight” board.  These two students were our test subjects for photos.  Stop by and have a photo taken to show your leap into Leadership!

Gleaner’s Food Drive

Gleaner’s Food Drive

Hello, Snow School Community! We will be participating in a canned food and non-perishable food drive to benefit Gleaner’s Food Bank. We are collecting items from now until December 20. If you can help us out it would be greatly appreciated! Please send in the canned food and non-perishable food items with your Snow School students. Watch the lobby as our donation grows and grows! We thank you in advance for helping out those in need in our own community!

ART CLUB

ART CLUB

So sorry but I made a huge mistake on a starting date- our first club meeting will be Wednesday, November 29! We have Parent Teacher Conferences on the 15th and the next Wednesday we have no school for Thanksgiving break. Thanks for understanding!

ART CLUB!

ART CLUB!

ART CLUB APPLICATION

We WILL be doing Art Club, starting the week of November November 13. We will meet on Wednesdays, from 3:45-4:30, in the art room. The first meeting will be Wednesday, November 15. ALL students wishing to participate need to fill out an application that HAS to be returned to Ms. Zechar by Friday, November 10!

The red Art Club Application is a link to the form.

PLEASE subscribe to my blog. I am one of three caregivers for my mother, who is 94 and not in good health, and I do this on a daily basis. If club needed to be canceled I would make an announcement and send out a blog post. Thanks for your understanding!
