Language Objective: Students will demonstrate application of Coulomb’s Law-Relationships by completing a structured practice.

 Chemistry

Content Objective:  Students will demonstrate applying knowledge about ionic compounds to figure out charges of ions that do not follow the patterns of the periodic table.

Language Objectives:

  • Students will write and orally discuss the relationships of ions in compounds using math and specific language (neutral, cation, anion, reactants, products, coefficient).
  • Students will write and orally discuss the meaning of chemical equations by translating chemical formulas and symbols into complete sentences
