Dear Families,
Welcome Back!! I hope everyone had a restful break. I had a few quick updates:
Spring Picture Day is this Wednesday, April 10th. You do not need to send any money to school at this time. The only thing you need to do is fill out the form with your child’s name, teacher, grade, and the pose you would like. Then send the form back to school by Wednesday. You will receive your child’s pictures in a few weeks. Once you have your child’s pictures, you will pay for the sheets you wish to keep. A pricing sheet will come home within your child’s picture envelope.

Spring Parent Teacher Conferences are also this Wednesday, April 10th. I sent a meeting time reminder in your child’s folder today.

Kindergarten Round-up for families who attend Snow School is on Wednesday, April 10th from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Finally, also starting on Wednesday, April 10th, our class will be doing the announcements and the Pledge, during morning lineup. I will be sending home a script for your child to practice starting tomorrow. When it is your child’s turn, please have them at the back of the school by 8:30.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Dear Families,

A couple of quick items:

Pennies for Patients boxes are due back to school on Friday, March 22nd.

Your child brought home a sheet today about their favorite book. Please help your child answer the questions and then have your child draw/color a picture about the book. This sheet is due back to school no later than Monday, March 25th.

Recently we have had students return to school when they are still sick. Your child must be symptom free for 24 hours without Tylenol or Motrin (when they have a fever, or throwing up or diarrhea), before they can return to school. Your child is not able to learn when they come back to school still sick.

Our Spring Break is the week of April 1st-April 5th.

Thank you for your help and support!

Dear Families,

Happy Friday!!

Please continue to have your child read, practice their letters, practice counting, or practice number recognition every day. These daily activities will set your child up for future success.

I will be making a list of chaperones and checking I-chats in the office. Please let me know if you would like to attend the Zoo Trip in May. I am able to take 6 parents with me, so I will hold a lottery in April.

Parent Teacher conferences will be taking place on Wednesday, April 10th from 4:00-7:00. I will be reaching out to families starting next week.

Thank you for all your help and support! Have a wonderful weekend!

Dear Families,

I had a couple of quick items:

I hung all of our personal goals in the hallway. If your child has not turned in their goal, I need it by tomorrow. The children are starting to track their lead measures (what will help them reach their goal) daily on their calendar. Every time your child practices their lead measure at home with you, you may send me a Dojo message, and I will have your child fill in their calendar when they get to school.

Our Morley Candy Sale started last Monday, January 14th. All money and orders are due back to school on Monday, January 28th.  All checks or money orders should be made payable to Whitmore-Bolles PTA. Please include your child’s name in the memo section. The merchandise can be picked up from school the week of February 11th.

There is a PTA sponsored Snowball Dance tomorrow, January 25th from 6:30-8:00. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

Finally, I will be sending home letters/books for your child to practice starting tomorrow.

Please let me know of you have any questions or concerns.
