Hello , hope everyone is staying healthy/well during this challenging time—Listed  are your two assignments for the week. Complete both items listed below for 10 pts weekly. Check your grade weekly on mi-star, all students have a total of 300 points to start semester 4, failure to complete assignments will result in not earning up to 50 pts weekly. Please feel free to contact me , email activity/exercise journals each week on Fridays.

  1. “Activity/Exercise Journal”…Continue to add to your exercise journal daily and email it to me on Friday. (7 points)
  2. "Check in with me"...Reply to me right now and simply say “hello”…or write me a short note and let me know how things are going. (3 points) This will count and help clarify any questions you have on assignments . It also will help with calling your home , check your grade on mi-star weekly, you will earn 50 points weekly for successfully completing these two assignments (all students start with 300 points for marking period 4). Frequently Asked Question: WHAT IS THE EXERCISE JOURNAL?

Answer:Any physical activity that raises your heart rate can be included in journal (walking, biking..etc). Click on this link daily and complete activity (20 minutes daily) https://iblog.dearbornschools.org/middleschoolphysicaleducation/

Type out/write down (then submit on Friday) a weekly log/journal of your physical activities and exercises. Your goal is to get a minimum of 20 minutes of physical exercise/activity daily . Try to elevate your heart rate above 100 beats per minute to maximize the benefits of your exercise. You may create your journal in whatever way you feel best fits your needs. I recommend you you type/write specific things you do daily . At the end of the week, email me your journal entries (you can simply take a picture of the journal page or pages) and email it to me at wykas@dearbornschools.org. You can use the .Remember: your exercises or physical routines are going to be different, keep moving safely and be active!

GOOGLE HANGOUT— This week at 11AM (Thursday-April 23rd) is the scheduled time, looking forward to hearing from all of you! I will post hours weekly for Google hangout on the schools remote learning calendar (teacher assignment calendar).

OFFICE HOURS—I have posted office hours for Thursday (12-1pm) . During this time I will be responding to emails, if you need me to call you for anything just email your phone number and I will call you. I may be emailing other students or speaking with them on a call (will respond asap ).
