Dear Families,

I can’t believe that tomorrow is March already.  Where did the time go?    Just a couple of quick reminders:

  • Monday is the 100th Day of School!  We will be busy making the coolest 100th Day of School crowns at 1:00 p.m.  We could use extra hands for this activity.  If you are interested, let me know and we will put you to work!  🙂  100th Day posters are due!  This is a fun, counting activity, no stress allowed!  🙂
  • Please return the Nightly Reading Homework on Monday!  Encourage your child to wear their reading charm necklace.  I also have a 100th day of school charm for it!
  • Thanks to your generosity!  Every student in our class donated to Lindbergh’s Science Fair Boot Camp! Please mark Wednesday, March 12th on your calendar for this special event.  It will start at 6:30 p.m.
  • I will be taking Al the Alligator home over the weekend to make the measurements for our experiment.  Just a note, Al has grown off the graph paper, so we had to cut the paper in half  and tape the halves together to make a longer graph.  The class watched me do this, so they should know what to do.  Also, the tails of the alligators curl up.  We straightened the alligator out, but did not to stretch him.  Hope that makes sense.  If you haven’t started your experiment, please do so this weekend.  Every morning, there is much excitement about the growth of these alligators!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Ms. Wright
