Week of December 18, 2017

Here is what you need to know for this busy week in our kindergarten classroom:

ABC Books:  We are studying the letters X x /Yy  this week.  Note:  For the letter X- look for words that have the letter somewhere in the word ( such as exit, taxi.)  Completed books are due on Friday, December 22, 2017.

Words of the week:  run  as

Poem of the Week: The Gingerbread Man

Monday:  Please make sure that your child wears gym shoes for gym and wears appropriate clothes for art.     Thank you for sending in the Nightly Literacy Homework today.

Tuesday:   Please return library book back today.  We will have music with Mrs. Baloga as well as attend the 2nd/3rd grade concert.

Thursday:  We will have music with Mrs. Baloga.

Friday:  Wear your pajamas to school today!  Don’t eat a big breakfast since we will be served delicious pancakes during our holiday party.  We will have gym with Mr. Murua so make sure you have gym shoes. We will meet Mrs. Ackerman in the computer lab for technology.  We will have our PBIS Reward of a movie and “junkie” snack in the afternoon.  Please make sure that your child brings in a junky snack if they stayed on green 80 percent during the month of December.
