Follow the directions that accompany the packet of information you were given in class to analyze the news articles and explain the role the law of demand and/or supply has in the topic described in the article.

We will be working on the Laws of Supply and Demand for the next two weeks or so. Here is
11-12-15 Demand – I can explain the law of demand and the effect price has on consumer demand.
11-13 Demand-I can write a summary of the law of demand and analyze the change/s in price that occur when a substitute or complimentary good/service is available.
11-16 Demand- I can analyze how the price of a good/service is related to it’s demand through three measures of responsiveness called elasticity.
11-17 Demand- I can describe how responsive a product is to change in price by using the three different examples of elasticity; unit elastic, elastic, and inelastic.
11-18 Supply- I can write a summary of the law of supply.
11-19 Supply- I can create a graphic organizer to organize the concepts of how pricing and supply are linked to encourage producers to sell as many goods as possible at the highest prices possible.
11-20 Supply- I can describe how the law of supply and the law of demand are inversely related when considering the perspectives of both buyers and sellers in the marketplace.

In this lesson, students will learn about the three types of business organizations: sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporation. Students will analyze four real world business scenarios and recommend the most reasonable type of business organization that is most appropriate for each case.
Vocabulary Words
Students will work with their table partners to read a series of descriptions about people trying to start a business and use their prior knowledge on business organizations to make reason based suggestions about what type of business organization would be the best choice for each of the groups described.

Chapter 2 Tests were graded and input to the grade book over the weekend.
As a whole, you all did very well on the test. Most students increased their test average on the second test.
I can participate in a class discussion on business organizations in America and use what I learned to describe the three main types of business organizations used in the American economic system.
Business Organizations
Chapter 3 “Business Organizations” test will be given on Thursday November 5th. The in class review will take place on Wednesday November 4th.
Chapter 3 will be the last chapter covered in Unit One.
Unit One test will be given on Tuesday November 10th.
The first unit test will include a mix of questions that were included on the first three chapter tests. Make sure you are studying the material from the previous two chapters as well as chapter three.
