Essential Question: Is college worth it?

CO: (Financial Literacy 4.1.5) I can analyze the risks, rewards, and expected rate of returns to earning/not earning a college degree.

LO: I can read 8 primary/secondary source documents and respond to a series of evidence based writing prompts as well as write an evidence based argumentative essay answering the essential question. 

Task One: Use the text of documents A-H (as well as Hook and Background Essay) as evidence to answer the guided questions.

Task Two: Answer the essential question (IS COLLEGE WORTH IT?) in four (4) evidence based paragraphs using the CER format/rubric.

Must include in paragraphs: 

1) 4 Full paragraphs.

2) At least 6 pieces of evidence from the documents.

3) Counter argument.

4) Clear claims that answer the essential question using the CER rubric.

5) All papers should be in MLA format.

LO: I can watch a film about the global impacts of climate change and discuss/write about how governments have dealt or are dealing with the negative externalities related to changes in the Earth’s climate.
