Here is a link to the memoir organizer we used when analyzing the student example from last year. If you were absent today, you will get a copy of the memoir and organizer in class tomorrow.

**We did not get to work on Elements of memoir today due to the altered schedule for PBIS.

Here are the 40 prefixes and roots!: (FYI, the test will have all 40, and you will just have to know the meaning)

*Today we took our Out of the Dust novel test. Everything that was on the test was discussed in class either when watching the documentary on the Dust Bowl, or during our novel reading. If students paid attention during class, completed their packets, and read when they were supposed to, they should have done really well on the test. If your score is not what you would have liked it to be, please remember that the amount of effort you put into your work, and paying attention in class, is reflected in your scores.
