Also, as a reminder, idioms are sayings that aren’t meant to be taken literally (ex: Break a leg! It was a piece of cake! I have butterflies in my stomach). Puns are a play on words (What do you call an alligator in a vest? An investigator!). Verbal Irony is saying something and meaning the opposite.
