Students continued working in their groups on their informational poster for their given type of transformation. They were given some ideas to help them narrow their focus into the important topics/vocab/ideas for their transformation. The “Areas of Focus” for each group is linked below.
Thursday Bellwork:
Began our last unit of the semester! Students began researching their given type of Geometric Transformation with their partner in class. They will create posters with all the key information on their type of transformation in class tomorrow. Today’s directions are linked below.

Tuesday Bellwork:
Students had time in class to finish yesterday’s review guide for the 1st 30 minutes of class. Then their progress was checked near the end of the hour – if their study guide was not completed, then they are ineligible for a retake on the Unit 7 test.

Reviewed our notes from Friday on indirect measurement and the answers to Friday’s homework assignment. Students then had class time to complete the following assignments: Indirect Measurement Practice 2 and 2 Khan Academy review assignments. The Khan assignments are due tonight by midnight and the worksheet is due tomorrow.
