Today we reviewed triangle classifications based on their side lengths and angle measures. Then we discussed the triangle angle sum theorem and created a mini-model showing the theorem. Notes and extra practice problems are linked below.

We reviewed the answers to yesterday’s practice test for Unit 2. The answers are linked below. Students had time to discuss questions and get help for any type of problem they were struggling on. Students also had the chance to take a Unit 2 Test extra practice worksheet – not homework and answers are linked below.
Students also worked on online proofs for more practice prior to tomorrow’s test.

Mr. Wood was out of the classroom today. Students took a practice test for Unit 2. A copy of the test is linked below. We will go over the answers to the practice test tomorrow.
After reviewing the fill-in-the-blank proofs answers (linked below), we discussed parallel and perpendicular lines and how to construct them. Notes and EP are also linked below. Students also had the opportunity to use the chromebooks to work on yesterday’s Khan assignment that is due tonight.
Last day for students to complete City Map Project. Due at the end of the hour today!

Students had more time to continue working on their projects today in class. If they finished the project, they worked on 2 practice worksheets on parallel lines and proofs.

Mr. Wood was out of the classroom today. Students continued to work on their project from earlier this week.
Continued working on the City Map Project from yesterday. We discussed the grading rubric and the Proofs section of the project, then students had time to work and get help on their project.
We will continue working on the project tomorrow in class.
